US Archaeology and Anthropology Schools and their Disciplines

I
created this comprehensive list of Archaeology and Anthropology Schools in the United States and their Disciplines to assist students looking into the fields of anthropology and archaeology. When I first started looking for schools I quickly figured out, it was overwhelming. I had to visit dozens of websites just to gather the information I needed, to determine whether the college or university had the archaeology discipline I was interested in.

The list is broken into states, and to be upfront, there are no online schools listed here. I support online institutions, but I’ve found, through correspondence with prospective students and my readers, that face to face learning was key to their success.

The schools listed here are meant to give you an idea about the programs offered, graduate and undergraduate. For more information about the Anthropology department from each school, follow the link under each school heading.

You can also check out the rankings of these schools and whether or not they are the top archaeology or anthropology schools in the nation.
